Cada cuadro parte de algo vivido. Un momento, una persona, un objeto. A partir de ahí lo traduzco en formas, colores y tonos. Me interesa que la pintura funcione como composición y como significado.
Me formé dibujando y pintando bodegones, retratos y figura humana. Con eso construyo todo lo que hago.
Every painting begins with something lived. A moment, a person, an object. From there I translate it into forms, colors, and tones. I want the painting to work both as composition and as meaning.
I trained drawing and painting still lifes, portraits, and the human figure. That is the foundation of everything I make.
Carlos Müller Jiskra (Lima, Perú) es un pintor formado en la tradición académica cuya obra actual se desarrolla en el campo de la abstracción geométrica.
Estudió durante seis años en el Taller Baca-Flor (2012–2017) bajo la dirección del maestro Gustavo González Echeverría, donde adquirió dominio del dibujo y la pintura al óleo. Esta formación sustenta el rigor estructural de su trabajo.
Ha presentado exposiciones individuales en Lima y Miami. Su trabajo ha sido exhibido en espacios de diseño, y forma parte de colecciones privadas en Perú, Estados Unidos y Chile.
Su trabajo reciente construye espacios arquitectónicos imaginarios a través de la geometría, con estructuras que sugieren profundidad y volumen mediante planos superpuestos.
Vive y trabaja en Lima, Perú.
Carlos Müller Jiskra (Lima, Peru) is a painter trained in the academic tradition whose current work unfolds within the field of geometric abstraction.
He studied for six years at the Taller Baca-Flor (2012–2017) under master painter Gustavo González Echeverría, where he developed mastery of drawing and oil painting. This training underpins the structural rigor of his work.
He has presented solo exhibitions in Lima and Miami. His work has been shown in design spaces and is part of private collections in Peru, the United States, and Chile.
His recent work constructs imaginary architectural spaces through geometry, with structures that suggest depth and volume by means of superimposed planes.
He lives and works in Lima, Peru.
